What messaging providers does OneText support?
OneText supports several messaging providers that allow merchants to send and receive messages through the platform. These providers handle the delivery of SMS, MMS, RCS and other messaging channels to your customers.
Currently, OneText supports the following messaging providers:
Telnyx
Twilio
Infobip
WhatsApp (via Infobip)
Your provider is typically selected during setup based on your messaging needs, region, and channel requirements.
Telnyx
Telnyx is a messaging provider that allows merchants to send and receive SMS and MMS messages through the OneText platform.
Telnyx is commonly used for:
SMS and MMS messaging
Reliable message delivery
U.S. and international messaging support
If your account is connected to Telnyx, OneText will route your messaging traffic through your Telnyx account.
Twilio
Twilio is a widely used messaging provider that enables SMS, MMS, and RCS messaging through programmable APIs.
With Twilio connected, merchants can:
Send SMS and MMS campaigns
Use dedicated phone numbers, short codes, or toll-free numbers
Manage messaging compliance such as 10DLC registration
Many OneText merchants use Twilio for its scalability and global messaging capabilities.
Infobip
Infobip is a global communications platform that supports SMS messaging across a wide range of international carriers.
Through Infobip, OneText merchants can:
Send SMS messages globally
Access high-deliverability carrier routes
Use additional messaging channels depending on configuration
Infobip is often used when international messaging support is needed.
WhatsApp (via Infobip)
OneText supports WhatsApp messaging through Infobip integration.
This allows merchants to communicate with customers using the WhatsApp Business messaging channel, which is popular for conversational commerce and international messaging.
With WhatsApp enabled, merchants can:
Send WhatsApp messages to customers
Provide conversational customer support
Deliver order notifications and marketing messages (when approved)
Note: WhatsApp messaging requires additional approval and setup through Infobip and WhatsApp Business.
How do I know which messaging provider my account is using?
You can view your connected messaging provider by navigating to:
Settings → Integrations → Messaging Providers
